Once again, the Rolex WBFSH breeder awards ceremony was hosted by one of the world’s most prestigious equestrian competitions, the CHI Geneva (Concours Hippique International de Genève) at a cocktail reception in Palexpo Geneva, Switzerland.

During the awards a video about the No. 1 horses in the rankings and their breeders is played before the massive crowd in Palexpo, and this is a very captivating and often emotional moment for the breeders.

The president of the WBFSH Jan Pedersen was joined by show jumping legend Rodrigo Pessoa and former No. 1 in the FEI World Rankings, Kent Farrington in conducting the Rolex WBFSH awards ceremony.

The Rolex WBFSH award winning breeder in dressage is the late Peter Crum from the Netherlands for breeding Verdades (KWPN) by Florett As x Goya with 2714 ranking points (Laura Graves/USA). Mario Everse was accompanied by wife Mischa Everse. The couple purchased the stallion Big Star as a three-year-old and sold him as a five-year-old before he developed into one of the best show jumpers in the World under Nick Skelton.
