This year’s Winning stallion in dressage was the Vitalis x Ampere (NLD) son bred by Reesink horses GmbH in Borken. Together with Andreas Helgstrand, Eugene Reesink was also the exhibitor of the impressively moving brown stallion. In the future he will stand at stud at Helgstrand in Denmark. Breeding director Wilken Treu had only one title for the winning stallion: Luxury! His conformation, physique, expression, as well as his movements deserved this title.

The NRW state stud Warendorf will be the home of the first Reserve dressage winning stallion in the future. The Zack x Don Schufro son who is named Zoom also impressed with his complexity. He was exhibited by the Danish stud Blue Hors.

The 2nd reserve dressage stallion bred and exhibited by Frank Dahlhoff will be located at the state stud Celle. He was the only stallion who was in the final ring and got sold over the auction.

The show jumping collection was especially impressive this year. One could nearly feel the enthusiasm and special concentration of the spectators during the show jumping in the crowded arena. Praise for the stallions, exhibitors and the team in the arena came from all sides. A son of Kannan x Verdi-Cornet Obolensky from the Hanoverian breeder of Werner Schultze, Langlingen, was the undisputed winning stallion. The striking, powerful stallion with the international pedigree was bought by a syndicate consisting of Klosterhof Medingen, and the stud farm Fohlenhof.

A special feature this year was the fact that the number of the final rings was expanded spontaneously to four stallions. In addition, three stallions were awarded the title of "Reserve Champion". The equally high quality of the jumping talents made this novelty necessary. It is a Cristallo II x Lancer II son owned by Gut Neuenhof. He was sold to Moritzburg. Furthermore, a Dantos HBC x Veron son with the name Deville (breeder: J. Veurink, NL-) which will stand at the state stud Warendorf in the near future. The third stallion with this title comes from the Ukrainian stud Zhashkov and was sold to the Ligges stud.
