Lion d'Angers: Results after the dressage tests

All Thursday and Friday the 6- and 7-year-old horses have performed in the dressage ring at the world championships for young eventing horses at Lion d'Angers in France. The cross-country test begins Saturday morning

French Nicolas Touzaint and the grey Holsteiner Caretinhus by Caretino/Cavaletto (bred by Xavier Marie, France) have taken a very clear lead after the dressage where they scored 77.31% equalling 34.00 penalty points. Runner-up after the dressage is another Frenchman, Thomas Carlile riding Tenareze by Jaguar Mail/Quatar de Plape ahead of British Tom McEwen and Toledo de Kerser by Diamant de Revel/Papillon Rouge. In the 6-year-class Belgian Vincent Martens has taken the lead on board Eiskönig by Songline/Trocadero with 41,90 penalties ahead of German Michael Jung and Star Connection by Chacco-Blue/Star Regent xx and Australian Christopher Burton with Dutch Man Retto by Colandro/Julio Mariner xx.
