Nereo is a 13-year-old CDE registered gelding by Fines/Golfi bred by Mr Ramón Beca, Spain. Ramón Beca is a former international eventing rider and has competed at the Olympics in Seoul, Atlanta and Sydney.

He now runs the stud farm B.T.4/Casa de Neves producing 4-6 foals a year. The stud farm has bred several internationally successful eventing horses like Armada, Berganza, Oplitas and not least Fenicio who competed at the Athens Olympics and at the WEG in Jerez under New Zealand’s top rider Andrew Nicholson. All of these are full siblings to Nereo.

The riders employed at B.T.4/Casa de Neves start up all the horses, and usually the most talented young horses are sent to Andrew Nicholson for further training as was the case with Nereo.

13-year-old Spanish sport horse Nereo has had a brillant career under his steady rider Andrew Nicholson. Placing Nereo above everyone else are his victory at CCI4* Pau and top placings at CDI4* Badminton, CDI3* Barbury Castle and CDI3* Burghley.
