Annual meetings in November 2009

New reports and updated information can be found regarding the meetings next week here.
If you want to know more please don’t hesitate to visit to find out more about the hotel, tours, the surroundings, etc.

Constitutional Amendments at the General Assembly
On October 5th we published the motions from Board containing constitutional amendments. Please take a close look at the enclosures regarding motions from the Board to the General Assembly 2009 and take care that all relevant persons in your studbook get these enclosures as they need to be well informed before making a decision at the General Assembly on Thursday, November 5th 2009. You can find the enclosures here.

Tickets for the different events
Please be aware that you will receive an envelope with tickets for lunches, tours, bus ride for Flyinge etc., when you register at the arrangers’ information desk at the hotel, if you have ordered that in advance. If you did not order for example lunch or a trip to the Danish studs, it is possible to buy tickets at the information desk.
It is very important that you keep an eye on your tickets, as they are the only way to enter busses for Flyinge (and the indoor arena at Flyinge – safety police will check you here due to the Royal visit), for Carlsberg, for lunches Tuesday – Thursday, etc.

Especially for participants Sunday and Monday
On Sunday, a small group is going to the traditional and festive Saint Hubertus Foxhunting in Dyrehaven. Please meet at 8,20am in the hotel lobby where Mr Lars Anthony from DWB will be your guide for that day. Remember warm clothes and maybe a raincoat.

On Monday the bus ride for 2 exciting Swedish stables is on schedule. Meet with the Swedish and Danish guides in the hotel lobby at 7am.

Dress code at reception and Flyinge
If you want to change clothes for the reception and Flyinge dinner, just keep it simple – business. Women can wear dress if they like, but as we are walking to Amalienborg, you should consider the weather Tuesday. At Flyinge, we will dine at a plateau in the heated indoor arena with the other
delegates and a few members of the Royal families of Sweden and Denmark.

We look forward to seeing you in Scandinavia!

Yours sincerely,
Karina Christiansen
Secretary of WBFSH
