The first morning of dressage at the world championships for 6-year-olds at Lion d'Angers was dominated by the German couple Andreas Dibowski and Mighty Magic keeping their keep down to 44,40.

The German couple, German federal champions for 5 year olds in 2008, has taken a provisional lead of the class. Mighty Magic is a licensed Holsteiner stallion by Mytens T.B. / Heraldik T.B. / Lavall I.

Dibowski was followed by Michael Jackson (UK) and Andrew Nicholson (NZ).
