The success story of the Oldenburg colt Fürstenball is unique. As an extraordinary foal he broke all German price records for a warmblood foal sold at auction, as he was aquired by Dane Ms Lone Bøegh Henriksen, a passionate and successful breeder of Danish Warmbloods. The desirable colt foal had several of Germany's most influential stallion keepers bidding on him at the foal auction in 2006.
At this weekends Oldenburg stallion licensing Fürstenball did not let his owner down. From the first day the dark brown became the crowd's favourite as he showed himself supremely in the lunge line.
Fürstenball by Fürst Heinrich / Donnerhall stands out with his extremely noble type and three world class gaits and demonstrated the best walk seen at a licensing in a long time.
The dam of Fürstenball, Maradonna, had her first son (by Dimaggio) licensed in Vechta last year where her full sister Maradita had her first son Sieger Hit approved as the champion stallion 2007. This is a huge success for his breeder George Sieverding of Emstek and the exclusively strong dam line. The great dam of them all, Marella, is also great dam of the successful auction foal Daktylius sold in August 2008.
