CIC**** Luhmühlen


William Fox-Pitt of Great Britain and Macchiato won the CIC**** at the Luhmühlen Horse Trials, Germany, over the weekend of June 15th 2008.
With a total score of 51 points, the British rider distanced himself from second place Frank Ostholt/Ger and 10 yr old Little Paint (KWPN by Nitron) with 51.4 points. Third place (52.2 points) was won by Stuart Tinney from Australia on Vettori, a New Zealand bred warmblood by Voltaire II.
Another Australian took 4th place: Andrew Hoy with overnight leader Moonfleet added 4 jumping penalties and finished on 58.3 points. Sir Roselier and Julile Tew/GBR placed 6th with 61 points, before Didier Dhennin/FRA with Ismene du Temple (Selle Francais by Cabdula du Tillard (61.2 points).
7th placed was Germany’s Simone Deitermann with Flambeau H (Westfalian by Funke; 74.6 points) and 8th place went to young rider Kai-Steffen Maier/Ger in his and his mount’s first **** with 75.1 points. He was riding TSF Karascada M (Trakehner by Heraldik xx)
