Trakehner Stallion Show

At the 2007 Trakehner Stallion Show in Neumunster, Germany, thirteen stallions where licensed. Seven of them where honored with the premium degree. The Oliver Twist offspring Grand Passion was proclaimed this years champion. Grand Passion is bred by Gestut Heinen-Bönninghardt and sold at the auction for 300,000 euro to Tony Pidgley of Kilbees Stud Farm in Great Britain. The stallion will stand at stud at Paul Schockemohle's station in Muhlen, Germany. Reserve champion was the chestnut Ettinger, by Connery out of Eichmedien (by Benz). At auction he was sold to Karl-Heinz Schulenburg for 60,000 euro. Ettinger will be available at the Neustadt/Dosse State Stud, where he will be trained by Christian Flamm. Third placed stallion in the premium ring was Insterpark (by Kasparow x Affido xx).
