The 2017 Annual Meetings - Monday

On the third day of the 2017 Annual Meetings the general assembly was part of the programme Monday morning

At the general assembly of the 2017 Annual WBFSH meetings on Monday two new honorary members were appointed. Irish Jim Flanagan and Belgian Rik van Miert are both retiring after many years of dedicated work for the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses.

 

– I have enjoined the many years I have worked with this organisation. I will miss it and will remember you all very fondly, said Jim Flanagan after the president had appointed him honorary member and expressed the WBFSH's gratefulness. Rik van Miert received the same honour and gratitude from the president on behaolf of the whole organisation. – WBFSH has been a big part of my life. This annual meeting in Denmark is the best occasion to retire, and when I'm 95 years old I will think back on this great event in Legoland. Thank you for trusting me. I will miss you, said Rik van Miert.

 

The three No. 1 studbooks of the Rolex/WBFSH studbook rankings 2017 were presented with the winner certificates; KWPN for dressage, BWP for show jumping and ISH for eventing.
